On a recent day in the heart of Marrakech, near the historic Koutoubia Mosque, I had the opportunity to participate as a member of the Hilana Association team in the organization and coordination of a blood donation campaign.
While many people see the event itself, few witness the amount of preparation, teamwork, and coordination required behind the scenes. Being part of this initiative allowed me to contribute to an important cause while developing practical skills that are essential in both professional and community settings.
My Role
As part of the organizing team, I contributed to various aspects of the event’s preparation and execution. This included supporting coordination efforts, helping ensure smooth operations on the ground, assisting participants when needed, and collaborating with fellow volunteers to create a positive and organized environment throughout the campaign.
The experience highlighted the importance of communication, teamwork, adaptability, and attention to detail. Every volunteer had a role to play, and the success of the event depended on our ability to work together toward a common goal.
